You may want to check each page before you decide on a topic. If you have another paper idea, just see me!
Hannawiki is our own Wikispace where we can build a list of sources. You've been invited to join the space, and now you can read the topics and we'll start building a list of sources. If you add to the space, be sure to give a quick summary (or abstract) about the site and sign your name! Check out my example under Racism Today if you're not sure how to do it. To add a site, all you need to do is hit "Edit this page" at the top and you can add whatever you want. Thanks!
You will need at least 3 sources. Wikipedia the encyclopedia, sparknotes and similar sites, as well as sites like planetpapers, are NOT considered scholarly sources. You can look at such sites for background information, but do not include such sites in your paper. The novel is one source, the film or documentary on the Scottsboro Trial may count as a second source, and there will be suggested sites beneath each topic for more sources as we work together to build our source list.
Remember: you need to credit your source within the paper for direct quotes AND if you paraphrase information. We will look at some samples in class.

If you use "ctrl f" or "Edit, Find on this Page" you can use key words to find a specific quote that you're looking for without having to flip through the book to find it. -Hannah Maret
